Floral Design Workshops Throughout 2025

We're running a series of practical sessions starting September 2025. These aren't lectures about flower arrangement theory—they're actual working sessions where you'll spend time with materials, tools, and real client scenarios that come up in everyday design work.

Hands-On Sessions with Real Materials

Each workshop runs three hours. We keep groups small—usually around eight people—because everyone needs table space and access to fresh materials. You'll work with seasonal flowers, learn preservation techniques that actually hold up in Baku's climate, and figure out how to handle last-minute changes when a client's preferred bloom isn't available.

Most participants are either considering floral design as a career shift or already working in hospitality and events. We've found that mixing experience levels makes sessions more interesting. Someone who's never touched floral foam learns differently than someone who's been arranging flowers for family gatherings for years.

Seasonal Arrangements

September 14, 2025

Working with what's actually in season makes arrangements more affordable and longer-lasting. We'll go through material selection, conditioning stems properly, and building structures that don't collapse after two days.

Event Centerpieces

October 19, 2025

Corporate events and private celebrations need different approaches. This session covers scale, timing, transport considerations, and how to design pieces that photograph well without looking artificial in person.

Boutique Bouquets

November 23, 2025

Smaller arrangements for retail and gifts require different techniques than event work. We'll look at packaging, pricing strategies, and creating signature styles that clients recognize as yours.

Who Leads These Sessions

Ruxana Ismayilova

Senior Designer

Ruxana spent seven years managing floral installations for hotel chains before joining us. She's practical about what works under pressure and what doesn't, especially when dealing with climate control issues and unexpected venue changes that happen during actual events.

Botanical Specialist

Teymur's background is in horticulture, which means he knows why certain flowers wilt faster in our local conditions and which preservation methods are worth the effort. He's taught material science aspects at agricultural programs and brings that knowledge to design contexts.
